Telehealth Consent

By using MedRx telehealth services, you consent to receive medical care via video and electronic communication through the MyHealthAlly platform. You understand that:

• Care is provided by licensed physicians through secure video visits conducted via the MyHealthAlly app.
• You must be a resident of California, Hawaii, or Guam.
• Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care; in an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
• Telehealth has limitations — some conditions may require in-person evaluation, and you have the right to request a referral for in-person care at any time.
• Your health information will be kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA and our Privacy Policy.
• You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the service.

Technology Requirements

To participate in MedRx telehealth visits, you need:

• A smartphone or tablet with the MyHealthAlly app installed (available on iOS and Android)
• A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data)
• A working camera and microphone for video consultations
• A private, well-lit location for your visit

You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection are adequate for video visits. Technical difficulties may require rescheduling.

MyHealthAlly Platform

MedRx uses the MyHealthAlly app as its clinical communication and care delivery platform. The app is included with all MedRx programs at no additional cost. By consenting to telehealth services, you agree to use the MyHealthAlly app for video visits, secure messaging with your care team, photo uploads for clinical review, and treatment monitoring.

Recording and Documentation

Your physician may document visit notes and clinical observations as part of your medical record. Video visits are not routinely recorded. If recording is needed for clinical purposes, your explicit consent will be obtained.
